A possible related poll question might be -- do you also do creative
writing?

Subject: ADMIN: New Poll Question
Hi everyone!
Some of you came into technical writing quite purposely; others of you
(including me) happily stumbled upon this career while in college.
Perhaps there are even a few of you who aren't quite sure how you got
here!
But anyway, since you're here... are you happy being a technical writer?
Is there something else you'd rather do? Do you think this career is
here to stay, or will it go by the wayside someday, forcing you to
repurpose to another career?
So, the question is this: How many more years do you expect to be a tech
writer?
* 2 years or less
* 3-5 years
* 6-10 years
* 11-15 years
* 16-20 years
* 21 or more years
* Until a better career comes along
* Until I retire
* Until my novel/screenplay/poetry sells
* Other/None of the above
Have a great week!
Lisa B.
