In Photoshop CS you can use the File > Import > PDF Image to import just the image you want.

Alternatively CorelDraw 10 can import pdfs. The image can then be edited in Photopaint or Photoshop.

I'd then create a pdf direct from CoreDraw or Photoshop. Using Acrobat's touch up tools, select the corrected graphic and copy/paste to the correct location.
