At the risk of 'wasting everyone's time by answering this question':
I use PrintScreen through VNC or ALT-PrintScreen through Exceed to
capture Unix screens and move them to my Windows version of Word.
Word crops them, then I copy into FrameMaker.
<yes, I agree one should reference graphics, but due to our scope; well
over 200,000 pages of documentation; and our use a
server-to/from-personal computer it quickly becomes to much to move from
location to location (required). Also,when there are contractors, it
gets pretty dicey with more times than I can mention a network document
trying to retrieve a referenced graphic on a personal hard drive that no
longer exists>
