Did the interview yesterday, and they openly discussed their approach to
salary ranges: they like to hire at the middle or under to allow headroom
for economic advancement, but claimed they do try to be "competitive."
I should know within a week whether they're making me an offer, so if that
happens I'll get to find out how they define "competitive."
