For spacing and mousing I'm naturally left-handed, but after
I banged the space bar and clicked the mouse a few dozen thousand
times too many, I had to switch over to the less painful side. The
mouse was easy; once it's switched, it's switched. (And I was a Mac SE
user at the time, so left button vs. right button wasn't a problem.)
But to switch spacebar thumbs, I needed to retrain my reflexes, so
I taped my left thumb to my palm. It didn't take long till I was
back up to speed with the right thumb.
