There are a lot of responses to this and I haven't been able to read all of them so you have probably heard this before. "Slow" is in the eye of the beholder. Good writers that are "slow" for the most part are also meticulous and are an editor's dream because there are very few mistakes in the end result. There are other "slow" writers that are just plain slow and their finished product is not up to standards. I was "slow" when I first experienced this form of writing (on-line) but I have improved with experience. I would assume you are doing the same. I am used to writing very fast and working two to four projects at a time. When I quickly crank out alot of content though, my attention to detail suffers. So, as long as you have good quality product, your boss (and you) should not be concerned with how fast you do it, unless there is a deadline, then you have to meet that no matter what.
