You can expect whatever you are able to negotiate with your client. I don't think anyone can predict what your client is going to be willing to pay for. I would put it all anticipated expenses, including time spent traveling, into the job bid. Don't go into
this "expecting" anything that isn't on paper.

I'm considering a job that requires me to travel about 400 miles each way for a business meeting at the client's location twice a month. What can I expect in the way of reimbursement for the travel? Expenses, expenses + travel time, expenses + travel time + time on site??? I'm new to this aspect of Tech Writing, so please give me some idea of what is usual and customary.
