Hello all,

I work with a group of developers that use English as
a second (or third or fourth) language, and we
are presently grappling with a problem. One of my guys
says that there is a standard text for a
"Disclaimer" file, and wants to use no other text but
this mystery paragraph. The text gives some
basic warning, and he seems to think that it is a
fairly well-used paragraph within the computer
industry. He believes that the text reads: File is
created by machine, there is no warranty, and
make no changes to the computer generated file.

This does not hold with what I know, but I told him I
would ask the real experts on TWhirler and see
what they thought. Do you have any examples of a
paragraph of this type being used within your
documentation? Could you provide me with a sample? In
this situation I believe it is better to show
them actual examples that do not resemble the shoddy
english used above.

I appreciate your time.
