Hello, all,
Page seven of the Work-Habits Survey stated about 42
percent of TWers work alone or are the lone rangers in
their companies.
I mostly work alone but at times collaborate with
other staffers (who are developers by title) on
documentation.
Even though they are always helpful, i don't have a
TWer under which I can get guidance about standards
and best practices. I'm often a little lost about what
approaches I should take and at a creative loss.
Is this normal? According to the survey I'm not
alone, but I am just an intern. I'm studying TWing at
a university, but sometimes feel ill prepared for
real-world stuff.
Where can I get info on standards? Can I talk to my
boss about training or ask staffers to offer their
support?
