Subject:Municipal or Household Waste in European Union? From:"Francois Perigny" <francois -dot- perigny -at- exfo -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Tue, 19 Jul 2005 10:05:51 -0400
Hello everyone!
We need to include in our product documentation a small section about recycling or disposal of electronic products in the European Union (WEEE).
Simple question: when asking users not to dispose of the product in the regular waste, can we use the expression "municipal waste"? Would "household waste" be better?
I was told that in some countries, waste is not managed by municipal entities, so I want to ensure I use a correct text.
Thanks for your help!
