In my previous job, I was "officially" a technical writer/editor, however I
also developed and delivered technical and "soft skills" training, acted a
facilitator, and created presentations for the CIO.

I'm curious how many of you do technical writing and something else in
your job. In the job before my current one, I was a technical
writer/release engineer. In addition to writing documentation,
including feature specifications, I would run the build and code the
installers. I'm hoping someday to find a job that will allow me to be
a "technical writer/programmer."

What other types of hybrid technical writing jobs are out there?
