Re: Do you have a hybrid job?
I'm mostly a technical editor. However, we got
tired of paying travel/accommodation/fees for
the trainers from the company from whom we license
our SGML software to fly from Michigan to California
to conduct classes so my company paid for a few of
us to become official trainers on their software and
teach our internal classes. I also have authored some
of our internal tools documentation due to a lack of
other resources. Not quite as far apart as writer/
programmer but still not exactly what I ever expected
to be doing when I was hired!
