My experience is that it takes someone who is him/herself an SME in the same field to deal with a "client from hell." These types usually can only work well with someone who
can speak their language first thing through the door.
There are different flavors of client-from-hell, Gene. In this case, the problem is getting her to articulate her ideas in words, period. I mean the words do come tumbling out (can you say logorrhea?); they just don't form articulate thoughts. Big right brain; not so much on the left. She uses lots of pointing and a certain amount of shouting. I don't think I want to find someone who speaks THAT language ;-)
