One word: Monster.com. It's been very helpful in obtaining employment
on multiple occasions. But I wouldn't stop there. Hit all the online
places that you can and give it a month or so. Then if they haven't
shown you the door (you never know about places like that), show them
the door -- if just to save your sanity and your health, if for no
other reason. No amount of money is worth a bad job situation. None.

In the meantime, what I used to get through situations like that was a
few of these:

1) Develop a boundless sense of humor. What you can't change, find the
humor in.

2) Your boss won't be fired, and sorties to get him fired won't work,
either, so don't try that. The upper management will view *you* as the
problem, laws be accursed.

3) Leave work at work. The instant you walk through those doors, drop
the baggage right there. Don't keep fighting this guy in your mind, or
with your emotions, once you're done for the day.

4) Get lots of sleep, work out, and eat right.

5) Pray.
