Of course it can be done quite intentionally. A comedy show here in the
UK about a small shop owner deliberately spelled some of his 'offers' in
the window. When his assistant pointed it out his reply was something
along the lines - "People come in to tell me about it and before they
know it they've bought something" A form of marketing writing I suppose
