OK, OK, I'm so old that. . .
1. I knew Bill Haley personally (he was a friend of my grandfather) and
have almost all of his records autographed.
2. I practiced "duck and cover" in elementary school and jr. high school.
3. I listened to Gunsmoke and the Lone Ranger on the radio, since we didn't
get a TV set until 1956, the same year my youngest sister was born.
4. My first calculator cost me almost $90 and could only add, subtract,
multiply, divide, and do square roots.
5. My first computer was a Commodore 64.
And last, but not least. . .
6. I remember watching Robin Roberts, Curt Simmons and Richie Ashburn play
for the Phillys.
Have a good weekend, y'all.

Subject: RE: TOP THAT: Antique Email
I'm so old that I can't remember when I first got my AOL account. :-)
Probably sometime around '91 and '92... on a Mac, of course.
I certainly had it in in '94, because I remember the discussions with my
fiancé as to which AOL account we'd keep after the wedding -- I won, because
mine had been around longer, and I had used my email for business purposes
and job hunting.
Still have the same account and email addresses, so it's at least 14 years
old. Almost dropped it a few years ago, but my husband still liked to use
it at times. Now we keep it because of the kids and it's good parental
controls.
