If your boss is asking you to rearrange for safety reasons, then
rearrange. However, if you find the configuration of the office isn't
facilitating safety, you need to let your boss know this.

still telling me I need to rearrange my desk!
Does anyone know what the OSHA requirements are on sharing an office
with one other person, on safety issues-which is the position of my
boss. She believes that the current placement of my desk does not allow
ME enough space to exit my office safely.
Just so you know, I am not wheelchair bound (nor is my office mate),
both my legs operate above normal; I exercise daily and am very fit ; )
