Well, the definition of a technical writer is quite broad at this
point in time. As fields and technologies have broadened, so has out
reach. I don't care whether or not the general public understands what
I do. So long as my employer and my indusry does, I'm happy.

Lots of the general public doesn't even know what a technical writer
