Hello. I've been a 'lurker' for a good while now, mainly because I did not have a specific question to ask. However, today I do have a question: Is anyone familiar with the tool Document Locator? Our CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) has decided to look into this tool, to manage content for creating RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFI (Request for Information) documents. Ideally, the tool would be used to find content in marketing material, training and the user documentation that can be used in RFPs and RFIs.
FYI - I am not the one who writes the RFPs and RFIs. The CMO currently does this; she just wants my input because info from my user docs could be used in the RFPs and RFIs.
Anyway - if anyone is familiar with Document Locator, has used it, or has heard anything about it, please send your comments to me (digest is fine, but you can respond to me directly as well). We are having a meeting about this on Thursday, so it would be great to hear from folks before then.
Thanks!
