Having that "hook" in one's SIG for regular mail is one thing. Having it

I'm with Sean here. As a Marketing/Operations Manager in one of my
past lives, I learned that whatever works to bring customers through
the front door was a good thing (providing it was legal and ethical).
If you can't get them inside the store (or the web site), you can't
sell your product. As for the monkey, is it really that important to
get riled about? I asked once myself about the monkey and never got a
reply. I didn't care because it wasn't that important, just a Friday
curiosity thing.
