Many thanks to everyone who provided input on my dilemma. I truly
appreciate the thoughtful answers, although opinions were mixed (no
surprise there) regarding whether I should contact the company again.
I would like clarify a few things concerning my job search. Although I
couldn't understand why this particular company hadn't contacted me,
it was by no means the only effort I've made in finding another job.
I've applied for numerous positions in the past few weeks. I've also
notified key contacts and friends that I'm looking. I've been brushing
up on my HTML to create a personal Web page. I've been reading more
than I care to about crafting the perfect resume and other job-search
stuff.
And now, for the rest of the story: This morning I received a message
from the HR director of The Company in Question asking when I could
come in for an interview!
