So this is the list they are coming from... I wrote a note back to the
admins at OpenText about this but of course I have heard nothing. The
person wasn't subscribed to any of the lists I run.

With all due respect, I don't believe we can blame Mr. Russon for
these messages, as it appears he may have fallen victim to a layoff
after the OpenText acquisition.

Eric, can you purge his address from the list? We get one of his
account's autoresponses every time we post to TechWr-L.

Yes; Mr. Russon forgot to unsubscribe his work email address from the
list before he left his job. The sysadmins at his "ex-employer" have
probably set up an auto-responder that sends this reply to *all* mail
received at that email address.

It is now, unfortunately, another task for the TECHWR-L list admins -
to find this subscription and delete it.
