John Smart refers to something called Controlled English (as opposed to
Simplified English). He defined the difference between the two, but I can't
remember exactly what the distinction was. The CommWell Group did a podcast
with Smart at http://www.thecomwellgroup.com/podcast/commtalk.htm. He seems
very knowledgeable on the topic, so I'm sure there would be some resources
available there.

Subject: Simplified English
Greetings,
How does one become familiar with Simplified
English? Are there any generic docs, books, articles,
etc.?
