RE: Word: 'char' showing in formatting window

Not necessarily.  There are two very distinct bugs; in one, style names
get appended with char.  In the other, every style in the document shows
up as a single style called 'char char1 char' or similar.  I'm not sure
whether they're related, or which issue Susan has.
