Subject:Acrobat pdf font problem From:"Hewitt, Hazel" <hazel -dot- hewitt -at- siemens -dot- com> To:techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com Date:Tue, 28 Nov 2006 17:07:38 -0500
I have a font problem with a pdf file created in Acrobat 6.0 Professional,
from FM 7.1 files.
If the pdf is printed to a non-PS printer everything is fine. If printed to
a PS printer, some pages are fine; others look as if the letters have been
thrown around the page. The exact same FM files have been used with the same
version of Acrobat on another similar computer system to successfully create
a pdf without this problem.
We have copied the fonts and the Distiller job options from the successful
system to mine, but I still get the problem. I don't know where to look for
settings I can change to solve it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
