I'm suspicious of the 66% market share claim, since RoboHelp hasn't had
a new version in a while. If the percentage is true, it may be taking
into account technical writers who are using older versions. Also, if
you're shopping around for a HAT, market share is, in my opinion, a
rather useless guideline. I should know-I use Macs at home, and for
music production and recording (a hobby of mine I take too seriously),
they are nonpareil in the industry, yet Apple's market share is less
than 6%. (I'd imagine that among pro audio engineers, the figure is
more like 80-90%.)

Similarly, Toyota has a huge market share, but if you've got the money
and resources, it's more fun and satisfying to drive a Porsche Boxster
than a Toyota Corolla. It all depends on what you want to do and
whether or not you have the budget.
