Hi Christian:

That looks like Information Mapping for the method, and if so, you are
correct. The steps are not continued inside the table, but are done the way
you presented it to us. Additionally, steps within embedded tables are
bulleted, not numbered.

7. If | Then
Yes | Do this
No | Do this:
- Click...
- Send...
- Copy...

I could fax you a copy of the appropriate pages in my text book (that would
come under "fair use" I think). Unfortunately, the Info Mapping method and
text are proprietary, so you can't just go online and get copies (usually).
Maybe someone has a book where you work.

So. Should I let her have her way? Or should I stand my ground on
readability? And if so, are there studies or anything I can show her
besides my insistence?
