MS HTML Help vs. WebHelp

For the project I'm currently working on, I could use either MS HTML
Help or WebHelp. Here's my questions:
* Are there any compelling reasons any more to use MS HTML Help instead
of WebHelp?
* Is MS HTML Help now considered dated and passe?

I'm more familiar with WebHelp. I'm aware of its advantages:
* Browser independent
* No problem accessing over network (I know MS HTML Help/.CHM files may
not open over a network, due to a MS security patch, or something like
that.)
* More modern-looking appearance (The interface in MS HTML Help looks
dated to me.)

I've heard people say it's easier to implement context-sensitivie help
using MS HTML Help. However, when I used WebHelp in conjunction with one
of our applications, I successfully assigned Map IDs to field-level
topics and called them up (by pressing F1 when the cursor was in a field
of the application). So why is MS HTML Help supposedly better for CSH?
