Evelyn,
One site (membership only) to note of that has a tutorial on site design
using buttons and slices (and many more Photoshop tutorials and resources)
is the National Association of Photoshop Professionals -- NAPP. As a guy
who dabbles in Photoshop and weighed the annual membership fee for personal
and some professional use, I am glad I did.
Member benefits include forum access, which happens to be very active, video
tutorials, "Photoshop TV" podcasts, member discounts on associated goods, a
Photoshop magazine, a personal portfolio page, and for an extra $10 you can
but "Layers" Magazine which focuses in on other Adobe applications like
InDesign, Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator.
I would have recorded a video of the tutorial for you because I think it
might have helped out but it would have been an enormous file and did not
have time to prepare a response to your post from it. Let me know if you
want me to view it and send a response out to it that other list mates
might not have covered from it.
