RE: Great Technical Manuals from Canon! (Was - Re: Tech writersstillnecessary, but performing poorly)

My family has several Canon cameras, and I think the manuals are
excellent....EXCEPT that the basic content is not in the advanced
manual, so you have to carry both manuals if you expect to need both
levels of information.  To my mind, this is a flaw.  Not that all the
content should be repeated in the advanced manual, but a couple of basic
summary charts listing what button does what should be there.
