Language Registers in the _OED_

Fyi, 
   
  Looked up "locus" in the Concise Oxford English Dict.
11th edition,  (OED) and <gasp> there's a "technical" label
 in the definition. Some 14 register labels are listed in the front matter.

  => For technical:
    "normally used only in technical and specialist language, though
     not necessarily restricted to any specific subject field."
   
  I wonder if they produce a list of those "technical" terms?
Maybe we could just use those in TW :-)
