Knowing "how to" teach does not imply one knows "what to" teach,
or to whom, when, why... :-)
It's a common human failing to believe that one's competency
in one area necessarily extends to all areas.
An aside, in a history of ideas class, many many moons ago, a text by A. Koyré (?) explains that one of the difficulties with getting rid of Aristotle in medieval schools was that Aristotle gave teachers a ready answer [as wrong as it may have been] as to what to teach, and how. When faced with Galileo, teachers chose to stick with Aristotle, rather than having to reinvent the curicculum. Paradigm shift isn't just rough for scientists, it's rough on teachers too:-)
For TW, the same trap can occur: one chooses to document an implementation rather than a business process (or vice versa) for lack of knowledge on what is essential for the audience. Or documenting how to click throughout a GUI in excruciating detail rather than telling the user where to start, what the purpose of the SW is, what to expect or some other useful sequence / finalism / meaning.

Correct. And specificlly to prevent the + and - labels on the battery from being covered by battery hold-down clamps, even the frame type that go around the whole battery, the signs are next to the battery posts on the center-side and not along the outside edge.
Me thinks that the person who flamed their battery didn't look very hard and even if they did, if you aren't certain, you follow the cable to see which one bolts to the ground (frame or something attached to the frame).
With current cars being, basically, computers on wheels, 5 minutes of checking sure beats replacement of the car's CPU and electronics.
