I bet this is already happening.  However, calling it
"mispronounced" assumes that those who came up
with FQDN didn't expect it might happen and aren't
laughing every time they hear someone do it; knowing
some of the people who work in that industry, I'm
not sure I'd be willing to make that assumption.
