RE: MS Word screws up yet ANOTHER project?

In other words, you're using manual formatting. Never, ever use manual
formatting -- that's pretty much Word 101 for tech writers, Ken.

You can restore a style's _correctly defined_ paragraph formatting with
CTRL+Q, and its character formatting with CTRL+SPACE.
