We bought a new digital Panasonic phone, with a base unit and one
extension, to replace our old unit that finally failed to recharge.
It functioned well for months. Just yesterday, the extension unit's
recharging light failed to signal that it was recharging. I tried all
the usual things. The handset recharges in the base unit, but not in the
extension.
There is really nothing to check or fix or reset in the extension except
to unplug and re-plug the adapter cord, which I did.
What should I do now? The old 1970s analog phones lasted decades. These
digitals seem to last only months. This one wasn't cheap, either.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
