Does anybody recommend a brand _other_ than Wacom for pen-and-digitizer
tablet input devices? Or are they pretty much the standard for ordinary
folk?
Has anybody tried Genius, Adesso and other brands?
If you aren't a true graphics professional, do you even notice the
difference in resolution?
Any can't-live-without features?
I use Linux almost exclusively at home. Anybody know how good The GIMP's
support is (Wacom or other brands)??
I use Win XP mostly at the office (some Linux there, as well).
Advice? Tips, tricks, gotchas?
I'd ask this kind of question on a graphics-oriented list, except I'm
not a graphics professional and not a member of any such lists, and I'm
already subscribed to too many lists (according to my inbox, anyway...
:-) )
I figure this gang is more likely to include people who would use the
device the way I might.
