I was the one that introduced the term. However, what I really intended
was "Simplified English" (http://www.userlab.com/SE.html). I
unintentionally conflated the two.

Subject: Edited American English
Hello,
I read the digest and the last one I received contained several mentions
of the term "Edited American English" which is new to me. I googled it
and got some information but I am still not sure I understand what is
meant by the term. Can someone please provide a definition for the term?
