I work in Qatar and can say the market is strong for native English speaking
tech writers. I highly recommend looking here in Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi,
and Kuwait. The oil companies--local and international--all need writers,
trainers, editors, etc. If you have a master's degree, there are numerous
universities also in need of lecturers. Middle East assignments usually
offer a good salary, good working hours, and accomodations.
