Ack I deleted em! was business case for dual monitors
Subject:Ack I deleted em! was business case for dual monitors From:"J. Paul Kent" <jopakent -at- comcast -dot- net> To:<techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Wed, 7 May 2008 04:40:37 -0700
I offered to buy a second monitor and video card and wasn't surprised to
find that there is a policy against folks opening there own PC's and having
there way the innards.
However the (pleasing) result was that my boss's boss stepped up and asked
for "the numbers" that show how much can be saved. It really sounds like
he's ready to pull the trigger.
Bad news is that just yesterday I cleaned out my deleted items folder
(several weeks worth at least) and now I can't put my hands on a couple of
the emails that I read last week. I recall at least one or two that included
some quick and dirty numbers that demonstrated how much time can be saved.
Does anyone have one or two of these languishing somewhere that they can put
there cursor on it? If so, plz pwd ASAP. It sounds like I need to strike
while the iron is hot.
Thanks in advance and sorry for dragging up this thread again, right after
it had run its course.
