Subject:RE: Definition of Tech Writer, was STC is broken From:Melissa Nelson <melmis36 -at- hotmail -dot- com> To:<techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Wed, 7 May 2008 11:28:00 -0400
I have tried to stay out of this argument...however from my experience as a technical whatever you want to call me, it really does not seem to matter what I choose to call myself. Every job I have had, or applied for, had the title "Technical Writer". The only time the word Communications has been used is when I received my B.A. in Scientific and Technical Communications...and technically not even then, since I got a BA and not a BS, it became Scientific and Technical Arts.
SIGH...just do not call me "late to dinner" or "fired" and I am happy!Have a happy and gainfully employed day!
