I hear ya. And when I finally got *that* under control, I was moved
into a completely new and undefined role. I think, after a little over
a year, I'm back down to about 50 hours a week. But that OT is all me.
My employer isn't insisting I put in that time, and no, I don't get
compensated for it.
I could certainly find another job if mine was truly unbearable, and I
have done so in the past. But others' comments are also on the money;
COBRA is a painful money sink, and not having insurance is potentially
worse.
