For some, this may not seem as though it has anything to do with Technical
Writing, but I was just informed that three of my photographs have been
accepted for the 78th Annual Northern Vermont Artist Association Juried Show
at the Bryan Gallery in Jeffersonville, VT..BUT, I worked as a photographer
for two labs to put myself through school (while helping raise two wonderful
kids). One of the labs was a production facility where we created everything
from copy slides to large sepia tone prints from old plate glass negatives.
The other was in support of the University of Alaska Museum of the North.
Each position gave me invaluable experience in how to produce photographs
for a variety of outlets (print, video, display...).
I just wanted everyone to know that this was not some blatant self-promotion
thing. Now, if you don't mind, I think I'll knock off an hour early to
gloat.
