Subject:Re: EASY way to add drop shadows to images? From:William Gaffga <WilG -at- GibbsCAM -dot- com> To:john -at- garisons -dot- com Date:Thu, 22 May 2008 09:07:22 -0700
Actually, if you have Photoshop it does not need to be a "13 step"
process. You could do it with a single keystroke combo. You set it up as
an action.
1-select all
2-copy
3-paste
4-increase canvas size (using "with relative") by an amount (5 to 10
pixels, typ. depending on the size of the drop shadow you want)
5-layer style with drop shadow
6-flatten
7-save
8-close
Assign a keystroke to that action, shift-F12 perhaps, and you will never
again have to do that .
Even better, make a droplet application from that saved action and you
can then just drag and drop the images onto the app and you don't even
need to open the files.
HTH someone.
Will.
