I think the solution is to load XP. There's a
reason why the system requirements for
Vista call for 4X the RAM as XP Pro.
Adding a dual-boot for XP to a Vista PC is
actually fairly easy. There are several sites
that provide step-by-step instructions. Or,
just ask any highschooler who plays WoW
and got a PC loaded with Vista for Christmas
last year to do it for you. :)
