On the Tufte course -
Just took it in March. Definitely a day well-spent, even if all you take
away are the books, the inherent superiority of the iPhone/Mac user
interface, and that Gill Sans is *the font* for a well-rendered table. Oh
and that Nature magazine has the best info-graphics around, according to ET.
Seriously, you get way more info than you bargain for. I'm not a graphic
artist, but sometimes I play one on TV. :) Has definitely improved my
modest game.
