In my experience, higher-ed institutions, especially for-profit but also
non-profit or public ones, can be quite protective about their course
information. They're afraid that if you get their syllabus, you could
duplicate the course content for a competitor. So they often don't give out
detailed information except students who are at least enrolled in the
institution.
