Help! Corrupted Word file(?) (take II)

Arroxane reports that none of my suggestions worked, so here's one  
more try: If you have a copy of InDesign, try opening the file that  
way. A couple years back, I couldn't open a particular Word file sent  
by a client even using "open and repair". In desperation, I tried  
opening it in InDesign, and mirabile dictu!, opened it with no  
problems, exported it to RTF, and then continued in Word.

Worth a try! I've also had this trick fail, but sometimes Adobe seems  
to know Word better than Microsoft does.
