I'm not really in a hiring mood, as I recently became unemployed. Just
the absolute necessities. I'm pretty sure I can install memory if I
can find instructions. And uninstall too, as long as I remain patient.
No, my Windows firewall was off (viz a recommendation from my previous
employers IT folk). I turned it back on to the default settings.
I don't think my router has a built-in firewall because my internet cx
says its unprotected. I am concerned about that; the router is over 5
yo, so maybe I should invest in a newer one.
*They're very inexpensive. maybe purchase a refurbed unit, which more often
than not are better than what's on the shelf at the Big Box store.*
