Subject:Re: "Insert table" button not acting as expected. From:Deborah Hemstreet <dvora -at- tech-challenged -dot- com> To:"Downing, David" <DavidDowning -at- users -dot- com> Date:Fri, 07 Nov 2008 15:47:02 -0500
Hi David,
This has happened to me in the past at various moments in time. Tracked
the problems down to:
1. Cursor is on or near another table - for some reason Word doesn't
like that when I click the table button.
2. Corrupted Normal.dot
3. Miscellaneous, solved by closing Word and restarting it.
Have you tried closing Word and reopening? How about backing up your
copy of normal.dot and then remove it from the templates directory.
Sounds like a corruption problem to me.
I hope this helps
Deborah
