Yes. Our company is migrating from Outlook to Google Calendar. Not just for Calendar but for e-mail too. You can create a gmail account for your company and then create a Google Calendar. Only those with the gmail account info can access the calendar. The Google Calendar will send emails to any address you enter for invites.
